On 25th March, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Rwanda, Hon Juvenal Marizamunda, together with the Rwanda Defence Force Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Muganga Mubarakh, received the Director of Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) Secretariat, Brig (Rtd) Paul Kahuria Njema, accompanied by the Chairperson of the Friends of EASF, Col Jens Lindvig.

وفقًا لهدف الإيساف المتمثل في الحفاظ على القدرة التشغيلية الكاملة للقوات، يقوم عنصر الشرطة حاليًا بإجراء دورة متقدمة للإرشاد وتدريب المدربين في فندق شازا الملكية في ممباسا، كينيا. تضم الدورة مدربي الشرطة من المجموعة الإقليمية للمدربين في الإيساف بالإضافة إلى مدربين من وحدة خفر السواحل الكينية والبحرية الكينية.
