The Eastern Africa Standby Force  joins the rest of the world in welcoming the year of 2021 after a devastating 2020 which saw livelihoods destroyed by Covid 19. EASF remains optimistic that the new year will inject a positive sense of optimism and hope as we gear up towards a brighter future.

Council of Ministers of Defence Gives Go-Ahead

The Council of Ministers of Defence from Eastern African region, concluded the week-long series of Policy Organs Meetings which started with the Experts’ Working Group to the Chiefs of Defense meetings which took place between 14th – 18th December 2020 at Radisson Blu Hotel and Convention Centre in Kigali, Rwanda.

The 28th Ordinary Session of EASF's Policy Organs' Meetings of the Chiefs of Defence (CDF) was officially opened on Wednesday 16th December, 2020 at Radisson Blu Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda.
