EASF Concludes Short-Term Election Observation Mission in Uganda
The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) Short-Term Election Observer Mission (SEOM) has concluded its work in the Republic of Uganda following the General Elections held on 15 January 2026. EASF Opens 35th Ordinary Policy Organs Meeting in Mogadishu
Mogadishu, Somalia – 13 December 2025 – The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) on Saturday opened its 35th Ordinary Policy Organs Meeting in Mogadishu, marking a major milestone in regional security cooperation under the theme “EASF: Two Decades of Commitment to Promoting Regional Peace and Security.” The meeting will run through 18 December 2025, beginning with sessions of the Experts Working Group (EWG) from 13–15 December.
