EASF Concludes CSOs Engagement Seminar in Burundi.

The Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) seminar that was underway for two days in Bujumbura, Burundi, has come to conclusion on 4 November 2022. The objective of the seminar was to enhance the active engagement of CSOs with a particular emphasis on the empowerment the youth.

The seminar was closed officially by the guest of honor, Brig Gen. Leonidas Niyunngeko, chief of the Training Department at General Headquarters of Burundi National Defence Forces. In his closing remarks, the guest of honor urged the participants to capitalize on the knowledge skills and experience they acquired from the seminar.

The EASF Head of Peace Operations Department, who spoke on behalf the EASF director, on his part thanked the various individuals and entities involved in making the seminar a success. He said that the objectives of the seminar have been achieved.
