Chiefs of Defence Meeting in Khartoum

The Committee of Eastern Africa Chiefs of Defence and Security Staff conducted its meeting in Khartoum, Sudan on 22nd and 23rd April 2015.

The meeting, which forms part of the 13th Ordinary Meetings of the EASF Policy Organs, was graced by H.E. Gen Abdelrahim Mohammed Hussaim, Minister of Defense of the Republic of The Sudan. In his opening speech, Gen Hussaim emphasised the need to effectively address and effectively manage the conflicts affecting the Eastern Africa region and the African Continent as a whole. [Statement]
