Director Meets Burundi Member of Parliament

The EASF Director Dr. Abdilahi Omar Bouh held an important meeting with Honorable Nshimirimana Georges, a Member of Burundian Parliament on 26th March 2019 in Bujumbura, Burundi.

Hon. Nshimirimana is also the current president of a group of MPs from the ruling party CNDD FDD and hails from Gitega province. Discussions between the two leaders centered on the ratification  of the agreement on the establishment of EASF.

Further discussions on peace and security in the region in order to sustain the economic development in Eastern Africa region were also held.

During the meeting, Dr Bouh was accompanied by the EASF Human Resource Officer Lt. Colonel Viator Niyonyabo.
