EASF Director Calls on South Sudan Ambassador

The EASF Director Brig. Gen. Getachew Shiferaw Fayisa paid a courtesy call to Amb. Chol M. U. Ajongo, who is the Head of Mission at the Embassy of South Sudan to Kenya and Permanent Representative

to UNEP and UN-HABITAT on 10th February 2021.

The two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest between the EASF and the Republic of South Sudan as a potential Member State of EASF. Currently, the Republic of South Sudan has an observer status in the organization.

Accompanying the Director were the Head of Peace Operations' Department Brig. Gen. Henry Isoke and the Military Assistant, Lt. Col. Edward Onyango.
