AU Specialized Technical Committee Meeting

On 3 June 2024, The Director of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF), Brig (Rtd) Paul Kahuria Njema, the Head of Peace Operations Department (HPOD), the Head of the Police Component and AU Liaison Officer attended the 16th Specialized Technical Committee on Defense, Safety, and Security (STCDSS) meeting at African Union in Addis Ababa".

 The Meeting discussed Safety and Security issues including adapting responses to evolving threats and tactics by the insurgent groups, shaping security frameworks and enhancing conflict anticipation capabilities.
