EASF Celebrates Year-End Achievements, Challenges and Sets Vision for 2025
December 11, 2024–The Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) held an end-of-year celebratory event marking the conclusion of 2024. Heads of various structures and departments reflected on the organization's performance throughout the year. During the celebration, leaders gave presentations on key achievements and challenges faced and outlined their vision for 2025.
The event also recognized the role EASF plays within the broader community. As part of its commitment to the local population, the organization made in-kind contributions to two child shelters in the Karen region, reinforcing its sense of responsibility to the host community.
Additionally, the celebration included a heartfelt farewell to several distinguished employees departing the organization and a warm welcome to new staff members joining the team for the upcoming year.
In his address, the EASF Director Brig (rtd) Paul Kahuria Njema acknowledged the year’s successes and hurdles the Force overcame while expressing gratitude to the Staff for their dedication and hard work. "As we reflect on the year's achievements and challenges, I thank each one of you for your contributions to the Organization. Together, we’ve made significant progress, and I look forward to our continued efforts in 2025," he said, wishing the Staff a prosperous year ahead.
The celebration served as a moment of reflection and forward-looking optimism for the EASF, as it continues its vital mission in the Region.
