EASF Continues to Build Bridges on a Global Arena

The EASF Director Dr. Abdillahi Omar Bouh held talks with the Turkish Ambassador to Kenya, Amb. Deniz Eke on 22nd August 2017 at the Embassy in Gigiri, Nairobi.

The meeting was geared up by the mutual desire between Turkey and the regional peacekeeper to ensure the maintenance of peace and stability in the Eastern Africa region. In this respect, EASF seeks to continously enhance its efforts in capacity development through personnel training programmes. Ample preparedness is a prerequisite for timely intervention of the Standby Force in conflict mitigation when mandated to do so by the African Union.

The Director was accompanied by the EASF Joint Chief of Staff, Brig. Gen. Charles Rudakubana and the Military Assistant to the Director Lt. Col. David Chesire.
