Spokespersons' Training for EASF Management

EASF successfully conducted a spokespersons' training for senior management staff from 18th to 19th February 2016 in Mombasa, Kenya.

The main aim of the training was to develop a framework for EASF Spokespersons and executives from all EASF components to develop and execute

communications in preparation for deployment.

More specifically the training sought to establish a common process that provides EASF senior staff  with a procedure to effectively deliver time-critical information to various stakeholders as well as the general public.  The content included specific message development, working with the media, press conference management and answering questions.  It was convened at a time when EASF is preparing to deploy in peace-keeping missions in the region as and when mandated to do so.

All senior staff from EASF structures and components participated.
