EASF Middle Level Management Course

EASF conducted a Mid-Level Management (MLM) Course for Police officers in Entebbe, Uganda from 29th February to 11th March 2016.

The course was designed to enhance knowledge, skills, and qualities for officers to perform their daily operational and administrative duties as managers

in a manner that supports effective and efficient implementation of the mission and AU/UN EASF mandate with particular regard to the strategic policing framework, criminal investigations, regulatory framework, community policing initiatives and realities of the operational environment. Participants were led through theoretical as well as practical sessions on mentoring, facilitating best practices, delivering training, compiling and executing a community based crime prevention plan.

19 police participants from Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, Rwanda and Burundi attended the course.
