Communication and Media Strategy Workshop Starts

The Eastern Africa Standby Force started a two-days' Communication and Media Strategy Workshop in Lerruat, Kenya on 20th May 2021.

The workshop was officially opened by the Director, Brig. Gen. Getachew Fayisa. In his keynote speech, the Director expressed optimism that the engagement of all participants would contribute to the development and improvement of existing knowledge base in line with EASF's Communications' Strategy.

The workshop focuses on enhancing the capability and competence of participants in undertaking the roles and functions of spokespersons as well as establishing a common framework and guiding principles as part of the Media and Communications' Strategy for the Standby Force.

The workshop, which is planned to close on 21st May 2021, is supported by the International Advisory and Coordinating Staff (IACS).
