EASF Expert Working Group Meeting Underway in Nairobi

EASF has launched its Expert Working Group Meeting (EWGM) at Weston Hotel in Nairobi today, 11 October 2022. The aim of the EWGM is to discuss on and make ready the various draft documents for the Policy Organ Meetings to be conducted in December this year as per EASF’s activity plan for 2022.

The Expert Working Group Meeting is scheduled to make in-depth deliberations on amendments on the agreement that provided for the establishment of EASF. Other agenda items include EASF organizational structure and job descriptions, EASF financial and procurement regulations, EASF service regulations, EASF SOFA, Mediation Framework and Rules of Procedure for EASF Panel of Elders.

The Expert Working Group Meeting will be underway from 11 – 15 October 2022.
