EASF holds Meeting with Friends of EASF

The EASF Management led by the Director, Brig Gen. Getachew Shiferaw Fayisa met with the Chair of Friends of EASF, Col. Jens Gynther Lindvig in Nairobi today, 24 October 2022. The EASF Civilian Advisor Mr. Peter Horne Zartsdahl also attended the meeting.

The meeting focused, among other things, on the progress of EASF activities. In this connection, the EASF director apprised the Chair of Friends of EASF on the status of activities of EASF. An in depth discussion was held on the Progress Report of the EASF planned activities for 2022 as well as on the 2023 EASF Activity Plan.

The meeting agreed on areas where the Friends of EASF could help in financing as well us on the preparation for the upcoming EASF Policy Organs Meeting to be conducted in December this year.

The EASF Joint Chief of Staff, Maj Gen. (PSC) Dr. Osman Mohamed Abbas, the Head of Administration and Finance Department, Col. Mohamed Barkat and the Military Assistant to the Director, Lt Col. William Ngondi were also in attendance at the meeting
