Management Holds Talks with Technical Advisors from Nordic Countries

The Management of the Eastern Africa Standby Force held a meeting with the Technical Advisors from the Nordic countries i.e. Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden on 13th November 2017 at the Secretariat in Karen, Nairobi.

The meeting aimed at harmonizing the common areas of focus between the regional peacekeeper and the Nordic Advisory Coordination Staff (NACS) in light of the upcoming Field Training Exercise (FTX) 2017 as well as activities earmarked for the year 2018.

At the end of the discussions, the EASF Director Dr. Abdillahi Omar Bouh took the opportunity to thank the Nordic countries for the support they have accorded EASF over the years. The Director underscored the fact that the recent donation of communications equipment from the Government of Denmark together with United Kingdom will go a long way in boosting the capacity of the organization.
