Director Fast-Tracks Policy Organs Meetings' Preparations

The EASF Director, Dr. Abdillahi Omar Bouh, initiated high level talks with senior officials from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of the Sudan at the Defence Headquarters in Khartoum, Sudan, on 12th November 2018.

The meeting aims at deliberating on the planning and conduct of the upcoming EASF Policy Organs Meetings to be held in in the country near the end of the year 2018.

EASF Policy Organs Meetings' comprise the Experts' Working Group meetings, the Chiefs of Defence Staff meetings and the meetings of the Councils of Ministers. These three meetings, which take part in a scheduled sequence whereby the output of each meeting forms the input of the next one in that order, ultimately arrive at well thought out decisions which are passed over to the EASF Secretariat for implementation.

The Director is being accompanied by the EASF Force Commander, Brigadier Gen. Alaadin Osman Mirghani.
