EASF Election Observer Mission Meets the Rwandan Minister of State for Regional Cooperation

On July 16, 2024, the Rwandan Minister of State for Regional Cooperation, Kabarebe James, received the Head of the Eastern Africa Standby Force Election Observer Mission, Ambassador Kennedy Mokaya, and his accompanying delegation.
Ambassador Kennedy praised the maturity of the voters, delegates, and electoral staff, as well as the good general organization of the election. He informed the Minister that the mission would issue its preliminary statement containing initial findings and recommendations on the conduct of the elections on July 17, 2024.
The Minister thanked EASF for its efforts, stressing their openness to all observers' observations on the Rwandan elections.
