Category: News

The Eastern Africa Standby Force successfully rolled out a training package at the Kenya Defence Forces' Army School of Combat Engineers in Isiolo, Kenya on 30th July 2020.

The training module, focusing primarily on African Union's Crisis Response Mechanism, sought to impart requisite knowledge and skills to these professionals, thus fostering their understanding of diverse approaches to complex peace keeping scenarios.

Conducting the training was EASF's Assistant Conflict Analyst, Ms. Irene Ogaja.

The training had been offered in conjunction with the International Peace Support Training Center (IPSTC) which is one of the leading Centers of Excellence in the region. IPSTC regularly trains civilian, military and police personnel on behalf of EASF.
