EASF Concludes Force Headquarters' Training

In accordance with the EASF approved activity plan 2016, EASF successfully conducted a Force Headquarters' (FHQ) Staff training course in order to prepare the Standby Force Headquarters' staff for any AU/EASF mandated Peace Support Operation (PSO). 

The course was informed by the necessity to further develop and maintain the achieved operational capability of the multinational Force Headquarters.

The course, which took place from  18th to 29th July 2016 in Jinja, Uganda, was officially opened by Brigadier Stephen Oluka from Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF). It was attended by 67 participants from EASF Member States including external facilitators and EASF Technical Advisors.
