EASF Cements its Frontrunner's Footprint in Rostering on the African Continent

The civilian component of EASF conducted a roster recruitment and verification exercise in Burundi from 13th to 16th March 2017 addressing both the EASF regional and the African Standby Capacity Rosters (ASC). The ASC sources experts for deployment at a continental level.

The opening session was hosted by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Bujumbura. The exercise contributed to raising the visibility of EASF in Burundi through the media i.e., TV and local newspapers.

Around 35 experts from this EASF member state were interviewed and will be rostered in various substantial and functional job families within Peace Support Operations (PSOs).

La composante civile de l'EASF a mené, du 13 au 16 mars 2017, un exercice de recrutement et de vérification des listes au Burundi, adressant à la fois les listes régionales et les listes africaines de capacités de réserve (ASC). L'ASC fournit également des experts pour le déploiement au niveau continental.

La séance d'ouverture a été accueillie par le Secrétaire permanent du Ministère des Affaires étrangères et de la Coopération internationale à Bujumbura. L'exercice a contribué à accroître la visibilité du EASF au Burundi par le biais de l'exposition médiatique - TV et journaux.

Environ 35 experts ont été interviewés pour être répertoriés dans diverses familles d'emplois substantielles et fonctionnelles au sein de PSO.
