The Eastern Africa Standby Force is pleased to issue the following message on the commemoration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Seychelles on 29th June 2021.

The Independence Day or the Republic Day is the National Day in Seychelles which marks the day when the country gained its independence from Britain in 1976.

The Independence Day represents the achievements and celebration of progress and development made by the people of Seychelles.
 
The Eastern Africa Standby Force fraternity joins the rest of the region and congratulates the Republic of Seychelles for promoting the values of peace and harmony.
 
Warmest wishes to the Government and people of the Republic of Seychelles on the commemoration of the Independence Day. EASF wishes peace, development and prosperity for the people of the Island of tourism - the Republic of Seychelles.
