EASF Director Calls on the UK Embassy in Ethiopia

The EASF Director Dr. Abdillahi Omar Bouh paid the United Kingdom's Embassy in Ethiopia a courtesy call in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 19th October 2018.

During the meeting, the Director informed the diplomatic staff of the progress the Standby Force has been making ever since its inception in 2004.  Dr. Bouh underscored the importance of financial and technical support that the UK Government has continued to provide to EASF since 2004. In absolute numbers, the financial support goes well over twelve million pounds over the last fourteen years.

The Director expressed his sincere appreciation to the Government and the People of the United Kingdom for their unwavering support which has played a significant role in the growth of the Standby Force.

During the visit, the Director was accompanied by the EASF Force Commander Brigadier General Alaadin Osman Mirghani and the Commandant of EASF Logistics Training Center, Colonel Charahane Mogne.
