EASF participates in the 2018 Cutlass Express Symposium
A three-day Senior Leadership Symposium (SLS) which is part of Cutlass Express 2018 started on 4th February at the Eden Blue Hotel, in Mahé, Seychelles. The Symposium, sponsored by the US Africa Command and facilitated by the U.S. Naval War College, ends on Tuesday 6th February 2018.

The 32nd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union (AU) opened on 25th January 2018 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. During the two day meeting, the Eastern Africa Standby Force is being represented by the Director, Dr. Abdillahi Omar Bouh, the Head of EASF Peace Operations'
Defence Ministers Reaffirm Commitment for Peace
H.E. Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed, Prime Minister of the Republic of Djibouti, commended the Eastern Africa region for its commitment and collective efforts the quest for peace and stability.
