African Integrated Peace Operations' Courses Start
The Eastern Africa Standby Force launched two African Integrated Peace Operations' Courses (AIPOC) at the Kenya Commercial Bank Leadership Center in Karen, Nairobi, on 14th November 2021.

The courses are informed by the necessity to prepare military, police and civilian personnel to handle crisis situations in a multidimensional Peace Support Operations' (PSO) mission setup. The courses seek to enhance the knowledge and understanding of integrated crisis management approaches as well as collaboration and coordination among diverse actors from the above mentioned backgrounds.
The training, which comes to an end on Friday 26th, is divided into two sessions, namely; AIPOC I running from 19th to 21st November and AIPOC II from 21st to 26th November 2021. The courses have been fully funded by the Finnish Defence Forces International Centre (FINCENT) of Finland.
