EASF Director Hosts Finnish Diplomat
The Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Finland Mr. Otto Stenius visited the EASF Secretariat in Nairobi, Kenya on 15 September 2020. The aim of the visit was to discuss the major achievements of the organization as well as its future plans.
Director Calls on Ethiopian CGS
The EASF Director Brig. Gen. Getachew Shiferaw Fayisa on Wednesday 2nd September 2020 made a courtesy call to the Chief of the General Staff (CGS) of the Ethiopian National Defence Forces H.E General Adem Mohammed in Addis Ababa.
Director Visits Force HQ in Addis Ababa
The EASF Director Brig. Gen. Getachew Shiferaw Fayisa visited the Force Headquarters and Logistics' Base in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 31st August 2020.
EASF Concludes Staff Induction Program
The Eastern Africa Standby Force successfully brought its 3-day Staff Induction Program to a close on 26th August 2020. The program, which was rolled out on 24th August, was meant to give incoming officers a soft landing as they undertake their duties within the Standby Force.
