EASF Director Holds Talks with the Head of IPSTC

The EASF Director Brig. Gen. Getachew Shiferaw Fayisa held a meeting with the Director of the International Peace Support Training Center (IPSTC) Brig. C. L. Mwazighe at the Secretariat in Karen, Nairobi on 28th January 2021.

The discussions focused largely on capacity building with emphasis on personnel training which is an area of mutual interest for the two organizations. Over the years, IPSTC has been training personnel from EASF Member States for Peace Support Operations. Trainees' records are held in existing personnel rosters within EASF. These rosters enhance selection processes should the need to put together a high profile Peace Support Operations' team arise at any given time.

As is the case with other Centers of Excellence within the EASF region, IPSTC remains a valuable partner in EASF's capacity building endeavors.
