Directors Courtesy Call on Qatar’s Ambassador

An EASF Delegation, led by the Director Dr. Abdillahi Omar Bouh, paid a courtesy call to Qatar's Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Amb. Jabor Bin Ali Al-Dosari on Tuesday 21st May 2019.

The meeting was a follow-up of a previous meeting between the two leaders that focused on areas of mutual interest, collaboration and partnership in matters of peace and security in the region and beyond. The Director thanked State of Qatar for its continued support to EASF member states. He emphasized the role of Qatar’s foreign policy in negotiation, mediation and peace building in the region and beyond, and alluded the need for more support, presence and collaboration especially with regional bodies and platforms like EASF.

Amb. Jabor expressed his gratitude to the brotherly visit and his willingness to witness a profound partnership between EASF and State of Qatar in enhancing peace and security as well as navigating other areas of collaboration. He acknowledged Dr. Bouh’s passion, courage and hard work in his endeavors in achieving lasting solutions for the security problems in the region which also contributes to the global peace agenda.
