Every year the 01st November is observed as Africa Youth Day. It is a day dedicated to the promotion of youth as key agents for social change, peace advocates, economic growth and sustainable development in all areas of African society. It is the celebration of the young generation on the continent.  The commemoration also serves to recognize the contribution of young people and their energy and idealism to reinforce the efforts towards the achievement of sustainable development in Africa.
