Director Calls on Chairperson of the Council of Ministers

The EASF Director Dr. Abdillahi Omar Bouh held discussions with Lt. Gen. Ali Mohamed Salem, Chairperson of the Council of Ministers who is also the Minister for Defence of the Republic of the Sudan on 21st September 2017 in Khartoum, Sudan.

The talks between the two leaders centered around EASF's activities including briefings on the upcoming Field Training Exercise (FTX) which will be held in Port Sudan, in the Republic of the Sudan in November 2017. The Council of Ministers is made up of Ministers of Defence and Security from EASF Member States and is mandated to manage all aspects relating to EASF. The Council appoints the Organization's Director, Heads of Departments of EASF Secretariat as well as the Heads of EASF Structures.

During the meeting, the Director was accompanied by the Force Commander, the Internal Auditor and Maritime Staff Officer.
