EASF Participates in Virtual Meeting with AUC Commission

On 8th of July 2024, Brigadier General (Rtd) Paul Kahuria Njema, the Director of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF), took part to the virtual meeting between the Chairperson of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki Mahamat and the CEOs of the Regional Economic Communities and Regional Mechanisms.

Brig Gen (Rtd) Njema supported AU-led initiatives and policies aimed at promoting peace and stability across the continent. He also reaffirmed the EASF operational readiness to deploy rapidly in response to crises and conflicts in the Eastern Africa region and beyond.
