L'Etat membre de l'EASF conclut un Accord de Paix
Les dirigeants de l'Érythrée et de l'Éthiopie ont signé un accord de paix le lundi 9 juillet à la fin du sommet entre les deux pays.
Les deux pays ont maintenant rétabli les relations diplomatiques en mettant fin à 20 ans d'hostilité. Après la signature de cet accord de paix, de nombreux dirigeants de la région Afrique de l'Est et au-delà ont félicité et les deux dirigeants.

L'EASF mène un Cours de Planification des Missions Multidimensionnelles
La Force en Attente de l'Afrique de l'Est (EASF) a lancé un cours de Planification des Missions Multidimensionnelles (CPMM) le lundi 9 juillet 2018 au Centre de formations pour le maintien de la paix, à Khartoum, en République du Soudan.
Commandant du Centre Allemand de Formation des Nations Unies rends visite à l'EASF
Le Commandant Werner Klaffus, du Centre Allemand de Formation des Nations Unies a dirigé une équipe d'Officiers en visite au Secrétariat de l'EASF, à Karen, Nairobi, le 9 juillet 2018. La délégation a été reçue par le Directeur de l'Organisation, Dr. Abdillahi Omar Bouh.
La Mise en Vigueur de la Salle d’Operations de l’EASF
Pendant la 27e semaine de l'année 2018 le Secrétariat de la Force en Attente de l'Afrique de l'Est a lancé le développement du concept multinational d'Alerte Rapide, de connaissance de la situation et de renseignement (MEWSAI) en conformité avec le projet de la mise en vigueur de ses systèmes d'Alerte Rapide.
