EASF Head of Election Observer Mission in Rwanda Meeting with Rwanda National Electoral Commission

On 13th of July 2024, The Head of the Eastern Africa Standby Force Election Observer Mission, Ambassador Kennedy Mokaya, along with the Vice-Chair of EASF Panel of Elders of Elders, Ambassador Mwenyesha Mrugai, and the Deputy Head of Mission, Mr. Bacar Ali Said, held a meeting with the Chairperson of the Rwanda National Electoral Commission, Oda Gasinzigwa.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mokaya officially informed the Chairperson of the Commission about the arrival of the EASF- EOM mission in Rwanda and the commencement of their duties. In response, the Chairperson warmly welcomed the mission and provided detailed information regarding the preparations for the Rwandan elections.
