EASF Open Day in Comoros
Hundreds gathered in Moroni, the capital city of the Union of Comoros, on 8th April 2017, to celebrate the EASF Open Day. EASF Day is a day that EASF sets aside to share information with different people on its achievements, as well as knowledge, ideas and experiences on matters related to peace and security.
Initial Planning Conference for FTX 2017 Concludes
In accordance with the EASF approved calendar of Activities 2017, EASF Conducted the Field Training Exercise (FTX) 2017's Initial Planning Conference in Khartoum, Sudan from 3rd – 7th April, 2017.

EASF Bids Farewell to Danish Technical Advisor
Week 13 of the year 2017 saw EASF bid farewell to the Danish Technical Advisor, Colonel Joern Rasmussen. During the last four years of service, Col. Rasmussen (working under the Nordic Advisory and Coordination Staff - NACS) has initiated and supported a number of projects which have added immense value to further development of the organization.
Delegation from Bosnia Herzegovina Visits EASF
A delegation from Bosnia Herzegovina from the department of Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) visited the Eastern Africa Standby Force Secretariat in Nairobi, Kenya on 30th March 2017. The delegation held lengthy discussions with the
