Ethiopian Military Students Call On EASF Force Commander

The last week of January 2018 saw 150 officers who are senior students at the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia's Defence Command and Staff College pay the EASF Force Commander a courtesy call at the Force Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Receiving the delegation at the Force Headquarters was the Force Commander Brigadier General Alaadin Osman Mirghani accompanied by the Logistics Training Center Commandant, Colonel Chaharane Mogne. The delegation's visit aimed at familiarizing the students with the roles and responsibilities of the regional peace keeper in Peace Support Operations within Eastern Africa and beyond. Understanding the dynamics of peace keeping organizations is a facet embedded in the curriculum of the two defence training institutions.

In course of the visit, the students had an opportunity to tour the EASF's Logistics' Base as well as the Logistics' Training Center also in Addis Ababa

The Defence Colleges' delegation was led by Colonel Abebe Haile.
