EASF Bids Farewell to Outgoing Staff and Welcomes New Members

During the ceremony, Brigadier Njema expressed heartfelt gratitude for the contributions and collaboration of the outgoing staff throughout their tenure. He encouraged them to continue serving as ambassadors for EASF in their future endeavors. The Director also extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed staff.

He reaffirmed EASF's commitment to peace and security in the region, stating, "Together, we will continue to build a safer and more prosperous future for the East African Region."

In his remarks, Lt. Colonel Denis Kiiza, Acting Chief of Staff Military Component at EASF, acknowledged the significant contributions of the outgoing staff. "Each member has played a vital role in our mission's success. Through their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment, we have upheld the values and objectives of EASF," he stated. "You have faced challenges with courage and worked tirelessly to promote peace and stability in our region."

Outgoing Officers Representative Lt. Colonel Seiko Adnan Kaale reflected on their two-year tenure, stating, "We are privileged and humbled by the opportunity to serve in this regional organization. The environment has been dynamic, but we have made meaningful contributions and gained valuable multidimensional experience. We received tremendous support from the management team and all other departments, which facilitated our successful completion of tasks. We will remain EASF ambassadors in our home countries and wish the organization continued success. We also pray for regional peace, security, and stability."

The ceremony concluded with a moment of silence as EASF staff offered prayers for peace in Sudan, highlighting the organization's commitment to fostering stability in the region.
