BEAUTY IN THE FORCES

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we reflect on the remarkable achievements of women everywhere, and specifically today, I want to honor the strength, courage, and beauty of the women who serve in the military. When we think of beauty, society often defines it through narrow lenses—glamour, appearances, or softness. But true beauty is so much more. It’s not just about what we see on the surface; it’s about strength, resilience, determination, and the way one carries themselves through the trials of life. It’s the beauty of character, bravery, and sacrifice. And that is the essence of the women who wear the uniform of our military.

Women in the military break the mold of what society typically considers beautiful. They don’t conform to traditional standards, yet they embody beauty in the most powerful ways. Their beauty is in their courage to step up when duty calls, to fight for freedom, and to defend the values that we hold dear. It’s in their ability to lead, to face challenges head-on, and to inspire others by showing that strength and compassion are not mutually exclusive. 

These women prove that beauty doesn’t have to be fragile. They show us that beauty can be tough, enduring, and fierce, just like the warriors they are. They don’t just serve their country—they embody a new kind of beauty, one that is defined by strength, courage, and an unbreakable spirit.
